Membership in the Missouri Association of Public Purchasing, Inc. is
open to anyone engaged in public purchasing and materials management. In
accordance with MAPP bylaws, membership is open to "Public Institution
Procurement and Material Management Personnel, including Federal, State,
County, Municipal and Township activities, Public School Systems,
colleges, Universities, Hospitals, Commissions, authorities and other
political subdivisions.
With membership, an individual receives a membership certificate and a lapel pin, a copy of the Code of Ethics: a subscription to the MAPP Newsletter; information relating to certification and professional development; access to a variety of bid specifications; an opportunity to meet with and work with other professionals in public purchasing and the opportunity to vote in all elections and help determine the course of the Association and the public purchasing profession.
