MAPP members are eligible for scholarships to help offset the
expenses of attending various conferences and/or seminars. In addition, MAPP members

Education
MAPP coordinates outstanding educational opportunities offered
by the National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP) at classroom locations
in Missouri. Content specific classes are offered on topics that range from legal
issues and ethics to sourcing, solicitations, contract administration, and program
management; with emphasis placed on sharing a clear understanding of public procurement
fundamentals. Case studies and classroom exercises are utilized throughout the program
as critical approaches to adult learning. And the International Association for
Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Commission has designated NIGP as an authorized
provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for those who participate in a NIGP

MAPP encourages its members to obtain professional procurement
certifications. By participating in various MAPP events, publications, and/or seminars,
